Geography Revision weekend to Grinton Lodge

On Friday 7th April, 45 Year 11 students travelled to Grinton Lodge in Swaledale, North Yorkshire for a revision weekend.  The students participated in a range of revision activities from playdoh Tectonic plate boundaries to speed dating.  They were even transported back to their childhood birthday parties as they played pass the parcel (albeit with Mr Logie’s addition of case study cards as well as sweets in each layer!).  One student, who had initially been reluctant to attend, rated how much she’d learnt as 8/10, and another commented that her mapwork session with Mrs Thompson had really made a difference to her understanding.  A fantastic time was had by all, helped along by the beautiful sunshine.
