Our Year 13 students have enjoyed great success in their A Levels, with excellent performances across all subjects. A third of all grades were A* or A, well over half were A*-B and 85% were A*-C.
Students have been successful in gaining university places, including at Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities, as well as moving on to employment and higher-level apprenticeships.
Headteacher David Watson said “We are delighted with these excellent results for our students. These students did not sit GCSEs due to Covid, so these were their first set of ‘real’ exams. Considering overall grades in England have returned to the level of 2019, our students have done incredibly well, achieving better grades than the school did in 2019. Their results are a testament to the students’ tremendous efforts, along with the skill and dedication of our teachers and pastoral staff. They fully deserve all of the success they have achieved.”
