On Monday 17th July the Accelerated Reader awards ceremony took place in the library. This was for the students in Year 7 who had done really well throughout the year. We got books, certificates and sweets as prizes. They were handed out by Mr Watson the headteacher and Miss Edwards the librarian. Aaryn McDonald-Brown got an award for reading 7 million words this year, the most in Year 7. I got an award for getting 100% in all my quizzes and received a book about the human brain as my prize!
