On 24th October, I travelled to Carrara, Italy to compete for England in the Unified World Championships in Kickboxing, the fifth time I had attended this event. For the previous five weeks I had been in a knee brace due to an injury, so had been out of training. Despite this I competed in four categories and won gold in three of them. In the team fight my girls and I are usually in the 13-15 year category, but we had to compete in the 16-18 category and still managed to win gold.
