On 14th December, the Tyne & Wear Citizens group held their AGM, and St. Thomas More were proudly awarded the “Best Organised Member Institution”. This was for all the wonderful work that has been done so far in school in support of this very worthy cause – they were very impressed!
We also received large rounds of applauses whenever I fed back on the work we’ve done so far, from the meeting with Alan Campbell, to the involvement at the Delegates’ Assembly and Launch Assembly, and now the work we’re doing with the Mental Health research in school which will eventually lead to action next year!
Well done to everyone who has been involved in this initiative so far!
