This week has been a big week for many of the Year 5 students in our feeder primaries, as some of them have been on visits to St Thomas More. This is a great opportunity to experience life at the school ahead of many of them moving here in September 2019.
The day includes a chance to experience some sample lessons. For example, Miss Pisarevic taught an Art lesson to a lovely group from St Mary’s RC Primary. They were taught about Emma Kidd’s Monster Splodges, and then had an opportunity to design their own, adding features similar to the examples they were shown, including textures, details, colour and shading.
