Congratulations to our Sixth Form students on the fantastic results that they received today. 32% of all grades were A* or A and 80% A*-C and there were excellent performances across all subjects. Our students have been successful in gaining university places including at Oxford, Cambridge and Russell Group Universities as well as moving on to employment and higher level apprenticeships.
Head of Sixth Form Donna Hallam said “We are tremendously proud of our students and how well they have achieved this year in the very challenging examinations. We have a very inclusive Sixth Form and it is testament to the hard work of our students and fantastic staff at St Thomas More that the results are again so strong.”

This year:
– 32% of all grades were A*/A (up from 27% in 2018)
– 52% of all grades were A*-B (up from 51% in 2018)
– 17 students (11% of our students) achieved 3 or more A*/A grades
– 48 students (31%, up from 22% in 2018) achieved 2 or more A*/A grades
