Admissions & Year 6 Transition

Transition Year 6

Welcome

As your Head of Year (Mr Rayson) and Assistant Head of Year (Mrs Green), we are so happy to welcome you to this new chapter of your journey! Starting high school can feel like a big step—and that’s okay. It’s normal to feel a little nervous. Just remember: you’re not alone. Everyone is figuring things out together, and a whole STM community is here to support you every step.

Our school is where you’ll learn more about yourself, make great friends, and discover new passions. You don’t have to be perfect—you just have to be you. Take your time, ask for help when needed, and know that mistakes are part of learning and growing.

St Thomas More is your fresh start—a place to explore, connect, and shine in your own way. You belong here, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do.

The following videos provide an overview of our school. (Please note there has been work completed since we recorded the video, but it still supports the students moving around the building)
