Mishma Sony, Year 7
On 2nd March we had a very eventful day in the library as it was World Book Day! The Year 7 Girls Book Group ran a number of activities such as “Guess Who Came to Dinner”, origami bookworms, book mark crafting, Frankenstein Treasure Hunt and the top hit, our book sale! The book sale went extremely well as we raised £25 for St Oswald’s Hospice.
We also had a lot of free books and book tokens to give away.
A number of staff and students got involved and participated in the activities. Plus, the staff came dressed up in their favourite book character, it was wonderful!
